They do not belong together #2

Description

I have said this before: I do not associate myself as part of any political party group, and I think it sends a bad message on religious people when people of a certain religion twist their political position and their radical behavior together in a way that it makes respectable ones look just as bad because they happen to believe in the same doctrine/god. I also will take this opportunity to call out that it's equally uncalled for when people try to encourage and build up that kind of manifestation of religion by feeding people news reports and political stories about radical religious figures misbehaving. It affects us normal folk, you know?
But, you know, nobody is stopping you from it. But I sure don't respect it.

I believe that politics should come into religion. It should never be acceptable to sacrifice innocent people on the alter of religious freedom. I do not think that people should have the right to practice their religious freedom to mutilate the genitals of young girls and boys. Yes, the government should definitely interfere when a priest refuses to report a peer to the police after that peer confessed to raping a child in confession, because to do so would be undermining the sanctity of confession. Someone should probably step in when a teenager's church submits them to psychologically traumatic gay-conversion therapy. We should probably question the rights of parents who attempt to deny their children blood transfusions or other modern medicine because of their own scripture. The government should think twice before allowing Christian teachers into a 5th grade class at my school around Easter and describing the hell that my family and I will burn in and show a graphic video from a bad Mel Gibson movie of Jesus having his hand hammered into wood.
